What a sad day when Atlantis landed for the last time last month on the 21 of July 2011. I understand that NASA needed to move forward, but still, the future of space travel is now unsure and seem very distant at this time.
Being a space exploration enthusiast, I decided on that day that we (me and my family) need to do our part (to try and fill the void left by the closure of the NASA Shuttle Program). On 21 of July 2011 DESA was born. DESA or D3SA (D3 Space Agency) is our non-profit pet project.
One of the projects of DESA is to develop free satellite tracking software. I am proud to announce that our first version is available for download … 20 days later in my spare time!!
DESA Satellite Tracker is a cool program that allows you to track the International Space Station or any other satellite in real time.
It’s freeware and can be downloaded form our website at: http://www.reddiligence.com/SatelliteTracking.aspx
There is no help file but its very user friendly and easy to use. I will also be posting a lot more here on how to track and view satellites. Please contact red diligence if you have any suggestions or questions regarding the software or satellite tracking.
